about

Thomas (b. 1988) is a British artist living and working in South London.

Thomas works to capture scenes of nature in the urban environment around him. He focuses on how the natural world bleeds into the spaces that we allow it to, which gives rise to individual moments of opposition and harmony. He works predominantly with expressive colour pencils on paper but often uses ink pens and occasionally acrylic to draw out the fantasy just under the surface of the reality around us. His work tries to say something magical and mundane with the same perspective.

His approach is likely influenced by his background in the film industry and takes the form of cinematic scenes with a suggestive narrative subtext.
